ISO Water Tank and ISO Containers
What is an ISO Tank?
An ISO tank is built to ISO Standards (International Standards Organisation). They are graded for different modes of transportation. ISO Tanks can hold hazardous and non-hazardous products depending of the interior liner.
An ISO tank is constructed from a stainless steel surround, which will feature a protective layer on the inside, usually Polyurethane and aluminium or glass. The sizes of an ISO Tank can vary depending on what purpose it is to serve, but the typical size according to ISO standards is 9.10 meters long x 2.40 meters wide and 2.40 meters high.
ISO tanks can hold up to 25,000 litres. There are both smaller and larger tank containers, which usually have a size different from the ISO standard sizes.
